Bedtime Troubles

We've never had much trouble getting our two to bed, but lately it's a different story. After many requests for drinks, blanket fixing, hugs, kisses, potty sitting and more hugs and kisses they usually settle in, but not this night. When I went to check on them before I went to sleep this is what I found--two munchkins and a lot of stuffed animals in one bed!

Happy Easter!

This is the first time we have ever taken the kids to get their pictures done professionally and I think they turned out amazing. The photographer had baby chicks and a rabbit that Little Bug just loved. He thought opening the easter eggs and putting the halves on the chicks heads was the best. It made me laugh and I thought it made great pics too. He also liked letting the rabbit loose so that daddy had to chase it around and try and catch it. Fun times! Big Darlin' Girl is so photogenic and all her photos came out beautifully. They truly got their "good looking" genes from their daddy.

Fun at Fairmont Hot Springs

We enjoyed a night at Fairmont Hot Springs in Montana when daddy got home from work! It was very cold outside, but really, really warm inside. The kiddos love swimming and Little Bug can swim around all by himself (with his life vest, of course). Big Darlin' Girl prefers to be carried or towed. Daddy always takes us to do such fun things. We miss you when you're gone.

Scripture Power

We all had a lot of fun at our ward Primary Activity. We built the "Tower of Babel" and the "wall around Jericho." Little Bug had the most fun knocking it all down. Big Darlin' Girl really got into marching around the wall and singing. Thanks to all those who put in so much effort for the kids.

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Oh my! Where has the time gone... We had a fun "Swingin' Safari" party with our good friends, Juleah and Daniel. Little Bug and Big Darlin' Girl loved the masks that made animal sounds and coloring more animal masks. Cake is good as long as it has frosting according to the birthday boy. We're looking forward to many, many more birthdays with you. I love you!

Silly Gooses

Here they are again doing the silliest things. Big Darlin' Girl set herself up quite a party while I was "busy." Little Bug has been quite into pirates and ships lately and this is "Captain Bones" on the lookout for treasure. Beware!

Phoenix Zoo

We always enjoy visiting zoos and the Phoenix Zoo in February was awesome. The kids loved all the animals, especially the camels. Little Bug and Big Darlin' Girl rode "Ahab" with Grandma and on the carousel. Poppa Newton took lots and lots of pics. It was a great day!

Being Nice

I just love when they are being nice! This is one of my favorite pics of my sweet kiddos. I would call them my babies, but Big Darlin' Girl would insist that she is not a baby anymore neither is she a little girl. She is officially a "Big Girl" hence then change in her blog name.

Great Grandma

Little Bug really likes to do things his way, And for Great Grandma that meant wearing a hat that he worked really hard at getting on just right. He was very happy telling her stories and having a fresh ear to listen to them. Big Darlin' Girl was just happy watching from a distance, but always willing to give a hug and a kiss.

A Huge Thank You

I am very fortunate to know so many wonderful people and this post is for a very special one, Amy. Thank you for being so willing to help me out. You are an amazing friend and I would always trust you with my little angels. Thank you, thank you for watching them when I went to the temple. Little Bug and Big Darlin' Girl still talk about their day with you and your really great kids. Congrats on #5!!

Great Day-Best Friend

While T was in France for work the kids and I spent 11 days in Arizona. I was able to do something that I have wanted to do for a very long time, go through the temple. And to make it even more special I was able to have my very best friend with me. Thank you Michelle for all the memories and phone calls. I miss you everyday and I'm working on the telepathy! You have always been my example and you continue to be. You are one amazing woman.

Makes Me Smile

It always make me smile to see the crazy and silly things that my kiddos come up with. I love it when they play together nicely.
